Out of every ten people you know, at least one has IBS (The Gut Trust, 2006). They suffer from pain, bloating, diarrhoea and constipation; a need to go to the toilet at such short notice that sometimes they soil themselves; restricted diets; and the mental pain and depression that having a chronic and embarrassing illness creates.
The Gut Trust provides detailed, informed advice to people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome working in conjunction with patients and medical professionals to improve quality of life, provide advocacy where needed, and help and support in as many ways as we can.
You can support The Gut Trust by adopting a duck in The Great British Duck Race 2008, and by helping us, you're helping us, help others.
